Workshops - Learning from each other
These pages are design as introductions to things that shape our societies and therefor our communities. Hopefully they will encourage further study of these maters. Will update as time permits - comments welcome.

Topics
The topics pages are in groups. They are not designed as a -start here and finish there- structure. The idea is. I thought they could be used to put together a workshop, discussion, walk, project, or whatever.

Radical thinking
To deal with our ideas problems and solutions we need to think radically. We need to understand how things are connected. How one thing affects another, how language is used. How we analyze what is being said, offered and executed on behalf of ourselves.

Democratic schooling
Democratic Education is a system of schooling where pupils are actively engaged in choosing the content, pace and timing of their curriculum; it is social, emotional and academic learning where pupils, parents and teachers have equal respect for the contribution of each to the life-long learning process. It is child-centred, equipping each child to function to the fullness of their nature and talent, leading to happiness and meaningful citizenship.

Poverty - issues
How come, when there is a consensus, or agreement by most of the public, on aspects concerning: poverty; the environment, community, planning, social housing, public transport, roads, motorways - very little of what the public feel, or think, about such matters is hear

Spinwatch
We aim to foster greater public and political awareness of spin and to campaign against the manipulations of the PR industry in the public interest.

Sports Page
Sometimes we are reminded that the Olympics can serve as an international platform not only for flag waving and truck commercials, but also resistance.
